Our Water Decoloring Agent, based on PolyDCDA (Poly Dicyandiamide Formaldehyde), is a high-performance cationic polymer designed to effectively remove color from industrial wastewater. It integrates decolorization, flocculation, and reduction of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), making it an essential solution for wastewater treatment across various industries.
CAS Number: 55295-98-2
Chemical Name: Dicyandiamide Formaldehyde Resin
Appearance: Colorless to light-yellow viscous liquid
Ionic Nature: Cationic
Solubility: Completely soluble in water
Solid Content: ≥50%
pH (30% solution): 3.0 – 6.0
Viscosity (25°C): 50 – 300 cps
Specific Gravity (20°C): 1.1 – 1.3

High Decolorization Efficiency: Achieves color removal rates exceeding 95% in wastewater containing various dyes.
Effective COD and BOD Reduction: Reduces COD and BOD levels by 50%–80%, enhancing overall water quality.
Rapid Flocculation and Sedimentation: Facilitates quick settling of suspended solids, improving treatment efficiency.
Environmentally Friendly: Free from aluminum, chlorine, and heavy metal ions, ensuring no secondary pollution.
Versatile Application: Suitable for a wide range of wastewater types, including those from dyeing, textile, paper, and ink industries.
Textile and Dyeing Industries: Effective in treating wastewater containing reactive, acid, direct, disperse, and vat dyes.
Paper and Pulp Industry: Serves as a retention agent, improving the quality of paper products.
Printing and Ink Industries: Removes color and reduces organic load in wastewater.
Other Industries: Applicable in wastewater treatment for pigment manufacturing and other chemical processes.
Dilution: Dilute the agent with 10–40 times its volume in water.
Dosage: Add the diluted solution to the wastewater. The optimal dosage typically ranges from 50 to 100 ppm, but exact amounts should be determined through jar testing.
Mixing: Ensure thorough mixing for several minutes to facilitate floc formation.
pH Adjustment: Adjust the wastewater pH to between 7.0 and 10.0 for optimal performance.
Sedimentation: Allow the flocs to settle or use air flotation to separate them from the treated water.
Combination with Coagulants: For wastewater with high colority and COD levels, use in conjunction with polyaluminum chloride (PAC). Conduct flocculation tests to determine the optimal sequence and dosage.
Packaging Options: Available in 30 kg pails, 250 kg plastic drums, and 1,250 kg IBC tanks.
Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Maintain storage temperatures between 10°C and 30°C.
Shelf Life: 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored under recommended conditions.
